What can I say. Dr Alex is very different from all my other vets. He's more often than not running late. Often very late. I have learned to expect this and always bring work to do. I figure when my turn rolls around he will spend whatever time it takes to try and figure out the problem and come up with a plan. Maybe he does the same with all his clients and so he runs late most days. Sometimes I find him a little brusque but I've learned that it hides an incredible kind heart. I bring my animals there far too often as I seem to accumulate sick dogs and cats; he takes that into consideration. I am not billed the usual exorbitant rates most vets charge. I'd truly be broke! I've turned up MANY times with no appointment. Another emergency for my pet but just another day for Dr Alex. He fits me in. Do I always agree with Dr Alex? No. But I know at all times he's giving 100%. I cannot ask more. And so yes I would recommend Dr Alex! Oh and the staff; they're efficient and welcoming.

The staff at East Middlesex Animal Hospital treated my cat regularly for clipping her nails and were always fantastic. When her health changed and she was suffering, they were supportive, sensitive, compassionate, and honest, which can be hard to find sometimes. They fit is in on the same day and Dr. Alex was up front with us about what we should do, but very kind and sensitive about the matter. I wouldn't take any future pets anywhere else. Thank you for your kindness and support. Sometimes they were running late for appointments but this is expected as they delt with emergencies and prioritized the their patients.

Dr Alex has been my vet for many years. His caring and compassion towards his furry patients is well known. His staff are friendly and very caring. Dr Alex is the best vet I have had. He goes above and beyond for our dog. Anyone who knows this vet, knows this is true. Its unfortunate a disgruntled woman took to social media in an ongoing vendetta to publicly slander this doctor. Her post is highly manipulative, ommitting pertinent information in a quest to destroy his business. Anyone posting on here without personal experience are just more of her keyboard warriors carrying out her disgusting smear campaign. This women was negligent in caring for her own dog and 100% responsible for not seeking emergency care when she was advised to do so. Dr Alex and his staff do not deserve this. He is an excellent surgeon and very trustworthy.

Neglected to notify of his vacation schedule prior to booking surgery. After our puppy came out of surgery, he tells us that he cannot remove sutures because he is away, tells us that any other clinic will perform this for free; even his recommended emergency clinic charges a fee for the procedure. Will not return difference to us. Charged us for an incomplete procedure. I would not trust this vet in the future.

We have used many vet clinics over the past few years, but Dr Alex and his staff are by far the best we have come across. Dr Alex is fabulous with the animals and his staff is caring and helpful. They are the best bang for the buck as well.

I made the mistake of going to another vet for a checkup with my dog last year because of driving distance. Dr. Alex is definitely one of a kind, very kind and passionate about his work. He takes his time and answers all my questions. It is absolutely worth it to drive 45 minutes to his clinic. Very friendly and understanding staff. My dog is going in for surgery tomorrow and I am confident that they will take very good care of him.

East Middlesex Animal Hospital took excellent care of my chocolate lab Dakota. Dakota had an accident on a Friday with a door and subsequently lost the tip of her tail. I took her to another vet who charged me $144 to see her and bandage her tail. They opted to wait until the Monday to operate. Dakota's tail became seriously infected and therefore I took her to Dr. Alex at East Middlesex Animal Hospital. He operated on Dakota's tail immediately that day, pushing back other patients to accomodate her. After a week of antibiotics the infection came back and Dr. Alex performed a second surgery for free. He only charged for her medication. I firmly believe the infection was a direct result of the other vet doing nothing to help her as well as bandaging her tail too tight. I took Dakota daily to Dr. Alex and he never once charged me for a visit. Dr. Alex showed much compassion for my beloved pet and he is the only vet I will ever use from here on out. Kudos Dr. Alex. The staff are very comforting towards the animals and their owners. I had to make a tough decision and their compassion and kindess made it a little easier. The prices are better than anywhere else around London as well. I will continue to take any future pets to this hosptial and highly recommond them!

The doctors and staff are caring, approachable and kind to animals. (our dogs love the staff) I would recommend them. They have fair prices too!
