Where do I start? Extremely bad experience. So sad that it is right near my place! I took my puppy Zuchon for her first visit ever and for a vaccine. Doctor was nice and told me I was going to get a package information about spaying soon. Two weeks went by and I never recieved anything. I called to follow up and they finally sent me an estimate. I wanted some clarifications so I replied to the email. Someone called me and in a very condescending manner explained to me the estimate. I explained my situation and requested an amended estimate considering my facts. It was like I was wasting my time to get some explanations to the costs of the surgery and pre surgery visit. Finally I got an email with the pre surgery costs which were very high. Spaying should not cost $2,000. I found another clinic who would do the job professionally for much less. Very unprofessional DO NOT RECOMMEND.

On July 22 we went to the vet because of Kira's fedder picking . Kira was a happy and silly bird , that love to love
When we came to the vet at 7 pm they had us wait in the room and the technician asked us about her improvement since the last visit which took place 1 year ago . Other then being a bit bold here and there. The vet came to the room and ast the technician to hold kira from the neck so she can hear her heart checked her ears and other routine checks and said :"she is ok , i dont see any problem " we decided to do some examinations to check maybe the problem is not on her skin . Maybe its from inside so the vet recommended to do a blood test however we just wanted to send her poop to the lab to rule out that it’s not an internal issue, the vet said its better to do a blood test. At the same moment i asked :"how safe is that ?" And the vet said :"totally safe" its really easy just will leave her a little bruised .
Who am i to not believe a professional veterinarian?. She

My Green cheek conure Dave loves this clinic. I utilize the boarding and he always comes home happy. Excellent staff, always friendly and knowledgeable

This place is HORIBLE!!! Avoid at all cost! All what they care about is MONEY..... not the pets!!! If your pet needs serious medical care then you better go to a reputable vet or someone else who truly cares about your pet. The staff including the vet get annoyed and rude if you decline their expensive testing. This place is only in for business.

We have been going to this clinic for over 6 years and Dr.McKinnon and all of the staff go out of their way to make every visit a positive experience for our dog. Their knowledgeable advice and welcoming environment is top notch and I have no hesitation recommending them to anyone I know!

I have been coming here for almost 4 years. The staff have always been very friendly and extremely helpful with the everchanging dietary needs of my pets. Dr McKinnon goes above and beyond for my animals and i have received many phone calls after work hours to check on their well-being during illnesses. She came in to sit with my daughter after our cat passed away. This is a doctor and a clinic who truly care about you and your pet.

I unfortunately had a heartbreaking experience at this clinic. My dog recently had to be put down due to a tumour she’s been living with that they did not catch, even after doing X-rays and other testing. The vet couldn’t even read her ECG, as I watched her pull out a book and flip through it trying to figure it out. She then proceeded to test my pups blood and see if she is anemic, to which she said nothing to worry about. Two days later we went to another hospital in which the vet immediately found she is severely anemic and found an enormous tumour on the X-ray that could have been taken out and would have saved her life. Very dissapointed in the lack of knowledge. I sincerely hope it won’t affect anyone else again.

I rate the staff and monetary value as 1. After the fact I consulted 2 other vets with the information on my pet. In their opinion surgery or euthanasia were the only options. Burloak initially said surgery didn't always have a good outcome so we would medically treat. I paid $700 in the course of a week on medication, fluids, food, etc. I basically tried to force feed my pet in hopes of a recovery. After 2 days they called to schedule surgery (we hadn't really discussed that option). I brought him back on day 5 and they gave fluids and more medication ($$). Within a day we took him to another clinic to euthanize. He was so far gone. It broke my heart that I put him through such unnecessary trauma, but the clinic cleared over $700. I never heard from them after that last visit. They didn't know we euthanized him but I think they knew from his deteriorated state that he wouldn't survive long. Their primary concern is $ not the pet.

unfortunately had a very bad experience when the clinic was very busy and no one seem welcoming new clients if you are going for only check up and vaccine.staff seem very stressed just there as a job and a business that pays their salaries.spent more than 30 minutes for my appointment then total time spent with the vet was 5-7 minutes.definitely dissapointed

Can't say enough about the excellence of this clinic. They saved my dogs life. Staff are compassionate and caring, and the vet who saved my dog ended up working until close to 10pm just answering all of my questions (which he was okay with). I've since seen another vet and she's also fantastic. Their prices are fair.

Not the best place to take your pets. Vets are lacking compassion and overcharge for services. We were long time clients and had an emergency situation with our dog. They just were not there for us. We ended up calling another vet for help with the emergency. I don't have confidence in the abilities of the vets and will take my pets elsewhere in the future.

My vet was on vacation and I needed to have my cat put to sleep. My vet only charged $70 previously when my other cat was sick. I called Burloak and she said it would be $260. I was desperate and didn't want to spend a lot of time calling around for a vet to come. When I checked my visa later, they had charged me $400!!! I had asked that they buzz the super to let them in. Instead they called as I held my sick cat in my lap and I didn't have my phone handy. I had to move my cat to the side when she had been lying comfortably in my lap while I waited for the vet. I wanted it to be a good experience for both me and my cat, but instead it was very stressful and EXPENSIVE. Also, when I went occasionally to buy cat food there if my vet was out, it was always more expensive there. I always found the people at the front desk unpleasant and unprofessional. I will never deal with them again!!!

We love this clinic! We've taken our dog, rabbit and turtle here for over 5 years and the device and care are excellent. I haven't seen all the vets here, but Dr McKinnon and Dr Zenker are really great.... our rabbit had a chronic health problem and they were able to give him at least 6-8 more months of very good quality of life before he passed away. During that time, we were taking our rabbit to the clinic almost weekly and I can say that they were very, very fair with their prices for our visits... they definitely do not overcharge customers and really do care about the animals' welfare.

Unfortunately, our experience here has been a poor one. Vets should be careful about who they put on the front desk...they are the face of the clinic. Vanessa needs some retraining in manners and good customer relations. She never smiles when you book in or pay. Very sour woman. The other staff are better and caring, but one bad apple here has spoiled the barrel for us.

Used to go here for years. Had to leave only because we moved away. The vets are all super friendly and very loving. They take the time to speak with you. The facilities are always clean and feel welcoming. We never had to wait for our appointment and we're always seen without question whenever we had an emergency. Love that they look after exotic pets as well so they were able to service our entire pet family. Only issue was with their prices - they're a bit too expensive for my tastes. Still, highly recommend them.

Vet thought our dog was 'aggressive' when in fact she was frightened! She's a golden retriever and is soft as a brush!

Always helpful and friendly staff. they give you options for treatment from less expensive and up, lots of follow up afterwards. My dog has a skin allergy and they have taken great care of her.

Dr zenker saved my chinchillas life. he was accomadating, informative, patient and very flexible with payment plans. I drive 150km to take my baby there now
