I took my dog there for dental. He was 10 years old and it hurt him to eat hard food so I told the vet to take out any teeth that was bad. He told me I should still feed him hard foods. When he was done the dental he said he had TMJ where the joint in the jaw was bad. I took him home the dental still to me didn't look good and he was still hurting so all he could do was eat soft. I took him to my vet in where we own other places and they said he needed teeth pulled and at his age it ok if he only eat soft but the bad teeth had to come out. This was not even 6 months after. They ended up pulling 7 teeth and thought he had a big mass as well with they test thank God it came back ok. After that he never hurt again and is able to eat hard food as well. When I got back I found a new vet and they said they never heard of TMJ in a dogs. After seeing my dog in that much pain because of him for that long. I will never go back there again or send any one else there as well.

My dog had 2 large infected cysts on her back. Dr. Dowling came into the exam room, asked a few questions, reached down and put his hand around one of her huge, obviously infected cysts and squeezed it. My dog cried out in pain like she's never cried out before! Bloody puss squirted all over the floor. He then said,“Yup, it's infected.” He could set her up for surgery in a day. I was hesitant as she hadn't eaten for a few days, and hadn't drank anything at all that day. Then Dr. Dowling said, “Or, you can live with THAT in your house.” I agreed to surgery. When we left his office, my dog was a mess. And she was in MUCH more pain than she was in before we saw Dr. Dowling. When we got home, she could not even get out of the car for half an hour. That's when I decided that I would NEVER bring her back to Dr. Dowling! I ended up bringing her to another vet clinic that cleaned her wounds and put her on antibiotics for a week before surgery. She is fine now and healing.

Very friendly, personal care, Dr. Tom and the staff are very experienced and caring.They take the time that is needed-never rushed--highly recommend this clinic.
