The best characteristic about the vets and staff at the Greenfield Animal Hospital is the coordination amongst the staff to ensure that all are in the know about every animal that is treated. My dog was treated for a severe infection of her uterus. After the operation to remove the uterus, all of the vets did everything possible to save my girl. She didn't make it, but the compassion from the moment I walked in until the she was put to sleep due to liver failure was prominent. All of the staff knew my girl's name and all had a specific role in her attempted recovery. When no blood was available for a transfusion, one of the vets actually brought in her own dog to donate blood on her day off. This was unexpected and was the moment I realized that treating animals is the priority of this clinic while simultaneously ensuring that compassion was present at all times. While I miss my girl tremendously, I do know that all things possible were done. For this I am most grateful.
