My two dogs got into a friends chocolate covered esspresso beans and were having erratic heart beats. It was 3 a.m. and the clerk at the front desk wouldn't even buzz me in the door until I showed her a credit card or cash. I was carrying a 5 pound Yorkie and a 15 pound Jack Russell mix and had to dig in my purse before I could even set them down inside the building. Never even saw the vet..dogs were taken in back and given charcoal. I sat in waiting area til 8 a.m. when my own vet opened and that's when these guys handed me my dogs and said to take them to my own vet for further care. I still had to take my dogs to my vet and leave them for 2 more days because this "emergency" clinic didn't do much for the ridiculous amount of money they extorted before they would save my babies lives. Even with a 2 day stay, my own vet charged about a tenth of this emergency clinic. These people were cold and uncaring toward both my dogs and to me even though I was in tears.

They will meet you immediately from behind the counter but before they will even ask what the problem is with your pet or look at the injuries, they ask for the money first. You hand them your credit card and they run it to make sure it goes through and THEN they will look at your cat (or whatever animal you bring to them). Mine was a kitten having grand mal seizures and I had driven 80 miles because I lived out in the country and they were the only vets that I knew of at 3:00 a.m. since I had previously lived in that area. They started an I.V. and gave her medication to "ease" the seizures but couldn't stop them completely and wanted an outrageous amount to keep her and monitor her. I took her home, I.V. and all and monitored her myself for 3 days before the seizures stopped. It was on a Friday night so my regular vet was closed. They never even called to check on us. I definitely wouldn't use their services again.
