I'm pet sitting for a co-worker whose pet is on a urinary care diet. Ran out of food and went here to get more. Staff told me it's a "perscription" and thus needed a vet to ok it. Told them I just ran out and had no more food, their response was "oh well". They would rather KNOWINGLY have an animal go hungry then SELL me a bag of food. Last I checked perscriptions were for controlled substances, and pet food is not controlled no matter how special it is. If vet clinics and their staff are happy having animals go hungry then you need to ask yourself what type of care are they really giving your animal behind the scenes.

Liked older vet. Younger vet had an attitude towards co-worker - almost smoke up (could only imagine what happens behind closed doors when customers are not there). Techs seem really nice, sweet and punctual. Also an elderly employee (tech?) that seemed frazzled/ slightly annoying. Do not like the facility - switched clinics due to bad vibe. Pet doing great.

I love this clinic. The staff are knowledgeable, kind, compassionate and helpful. The vets, as a group, not only treat my pets, but take the time to teach me about the condition that we are dealing with. Whenever, I am faced with a decision, the vets provide me with all the information required, including pricing, but allow me to make my own decisions, and respect them. The availability of 24/7 is a huge piece of mind as well. I always know that I can count on Town and Country, and I appreciate them very much. I would never consider going to another clinic.

Would not recommend this clinic. Vet called his dog with a liver shunt an "idiot", gave duplicate vaccinations, and misdiagnosed a serious illness in my dog.

My family has been using this clinic since It was opened and I would NOT go anywhere else with my animals! Brian and Peter are like no others and I come all the way from Clarington (well worth the drive!) I tried a new clinic when I moved and I knew right away it wasn't the same. Their service and knowledge is unlike anyother and I will not trust anyone else with my animals. My Englsih Bulldog suffers from tremors and at first this was very alarming. They go above and beyond in their work and do not use the typical "we can't help unless we see the animal"! From emails to late night calls, they do it all. Kepp up the great work :0)

Town & Country provided me with INCREDIBLE emergency service today. In 100 degree weather, while attending a dog-show my dog began to show signs of significant heat-stroke. We raced her to Town and Country in our Air Conditioned truck, where she started to defecate herself and her tongue became purple. We expected the worse. They accepted us with ZERO wait, sprinted me upstairs, and had her drenched in cold water with an IV within 45 secs. of entering (seriously). A sedative, steroid, and some great service and we left with a happy healthy Bulldog! To be honest, price in this instance wasn't an issue, but it turned out to be reasonable. Great care, great service and LIFE SAVING!!!

I love this clinic! The doctors are wonderful and really do care about my dogs and cat. I've seen them for after hours emergencies too and I've been very happy with their service. They charge what's fair without throwing on extra tests for the sake of it. The staff is super nice and helpful. All the girls are terrific and have always treated me well.

Love this clinic, their friendly staff and Brian & Peter. I came here several years ago after being frustrated at spending lots of money at another clinic without my pet getting any better. They figured out the issue real quickly after the first visit and now Max is back on track. Highly recommend you go to this clinic. You will not be disappointed.

Went here for years, but after a few bad experiences decided to switch. I had put up with the rude staff, I can live with that. But after having had one of the vets (red hair) be verbally inappropriate as well as unecessarily physical with a nervous dog (the other vets are quite good I must say). And then having had a medical emergency, where after paging the hospital at 8pm and recieving no call back, I decided that my pets and I deserve better service for the fees (which are on the high side) we pay. I have friends who have switched with horror stories (which wouldn't be fair to share), but I would at least recommend you consider what you expect from your vet when evaluating this facility.

I used to bring my dog to another vet before finding this place and I'm so glad I made the change! The entire staff team is knowledgeable and friendly. My dog actually remains calm when the vets do the annual check-up. I once has an emergency at 3am and the vet was right on it without any attitude. I would recommend this place to anyone who loves their pet!!
