Dr Armstrong is FABULOUS!! Never have I had my animals treated by a more compassionate and caring veterinarian! Not only is he compassionate with the animals he treats but also to the fur babies families. We needed to say good-bye to our beloved cat and Dr Armstrong went above and beyond. All staff were also class professionals. Thank you

Dr.Armstrong from Martindale animal hospital is an extraordinaire vet !! He is extremely knowledgeable and has an unconditional passion for the fur babies that are in his care . if we could give him 100% rating , we definitely would !! Thank you for being such an amazing veterinarian !! His staff are fabulous as well !!! Steph & Rex

Dr. Armstrong saw my dog on Thanksgiving Day. He was very thorough and diagnosed a long going, off and on, coccidia infection that had not been detected by some others. Thank you for listening! The cost for services was very reasonable. So glad you and your technician were there!

I had been taking my dogs and cats to this clinic for about five years. Out of the blue, in 2016, the receptionists started telling me that in order for me to administer Revolution to my dog, a heart worm test at a cost of $50.00 was needed each time. Then shortly after this, I called in because I required some Revolution for one of my cats. The receptionist immediately started telling me that my cat would need a heart worm test.When I disagreed she put the vet on the phone. While on the phone with the vet, he confirmed that a heart worm test WAS NOT needed for a cat in order to administer Revolution.I told the vet what his employees were telling clients and that I didn't appreciate it. The next time I tried to make an appointment for my dog, I discovered that I had been barred from the clinic. All of my pets' files are in this office and this was THEIR ERROR. And yet this clinic has a huge sign outside the office saying that they are accepting new clients ????

I have been with this clinic for over 10 years now and have never had anything negative to say about them, I have rescued a few animals off the street and gotten them fixed up all out of my own pocket while working on minimum wage and they have always helped me out with the cost of treatments and always have wonderfull things to say about each one of my special guys and gals. I have been to both Dr. Dan & Suitor and both are such wonderful people and you can tell right away that they both love to help animals. Snowy (the office cat) is also such a little sweetheart (I couldn't leave her out :) ). I love this clinic and everything they stand for and do to help us help our tiny friends. Nicole B.

Very unhappy with this clinic. First of all, the clinic is filthy & un- maintained. Second, I had phoned to make an appointment to bring my dog in as she had a UTI, I was told that they could not fit her in that day but I could bring a urine sample and they would do a urinalysis there and prescribe the antibiotics rate away if needed. I drove 45 minute to drop off the urine sample & was told to go home as the DR was in surgery and they would call later. I phone at 3:00 to see if the results where in & was told they weren't so I asked them to call me before 4:00 as I have a long drive. After 4:00 there was no results so I headed in to town to get there before they closed.I was told that she did have a UTI but I could not have antibiotics until I bring my dog in as the DR had not seen her for a few months. The front desk CLERK was very nasty with her sarcastic attitude. Overall staff are very unorganised as this could have all been avoided if I received the right info in the first place!

I have a rescue cat Oskar and had a few issues that came along with him. Dr Dan is absolutely amazing, caring, empathetic to persons situations and does what is best for the animal.I love the staff and they deserve the respect needed. The signs posted are quiet clear of work hours but a friend of mine brought in her dog during a lunch hour and was taken care of ASAP because of the medical situation. LOVE YOU ALL!!!

I have been a client of this clinic for almost 5 years. The staff and Dr. have always been more than helpful even during trying times. I would and do, recommend this et to everyone I meet that is looking for a vet that is honest and does not run un-needed tests. I will be bringing all my animals here for as long as I am an owner. I've had doctor Suitor for my previous cat and now for my new one. My other cat had to be put down due to cancer and let me tell you he tried his hardest to keep ahead of the cancer. In the end, the cancer was too aggressive, but he is extemely good with pricing and if you're concerned about any little thing, the visits are usually free of cost. I needed a veterinarian who would tell me straightforwardly what was going on and what he would do next. For those of you who say he is cold, he is there to fix the pet and tell you what needs to be done to do it. It's not his job to make US feel better. He is very focused on the animal at hand.He is informative and knowledgeable, that's what I want in a vet, someone who knows what they are doing, I've never dealt with Dr.Dan, but I've heard nothing but wonderful things about him. Either way, I don't think you can lose at this clinic.

I love Dr Dan I would recommend him and do to everyone I know Im so lucky I found him he is a kind and caring person he is allways very informative and is in no rush with your pet out of a scale from 1 to 100 I would give him 110 for cant get any better than that..... ps meeka loves him to kelly

I love this vet, I brought my cat in because he was having a difficult time breathing and they took him on short notice (they were the vet on call for Sudbury) my cat spent almost a week there and the vet did all he could to try to make him better amd he called me and said he probably wouldnt make it so I took him home for the weekend to say my goodbyes and the vet called me almost everyday to see how he was and my cat made a good recovery, and the vet trimmed my bill that was supposed to be a couple thousand to something I could more easily afford and didnt charge me the emergency admin fee. The staff are always pleasant and eager to interact with the pets which I love. I would bring all my pets there in a heartbeat they are truly there to help the animals.

We had taken my little Beagle here for a few years, when she tore a ligament in her hind leg. She was holding her leg up, and could no longer walk on it. Dr Dan told us it was arthritis, and that it was alright to keep walking her on it. We did so, realized it wasn't getting better, so went to a second vet who diagnosed her properly. She ended up going for surgery, and when we informed Dr Dan of his error, we received a letter from him a few days later, informing us that he no longer wanted to work with us, and that he had informed the Veterinary association that we were difficult. We had never had any problem with him before. Better to look like we were the problem, and not admit to being an incompetent vet. Completely unprofessional and spiteful.

I love Dr. Dan as my Vet. He is kind, fair, friendly and so compassionate. He is in this profession for the love of animals and not to drain people out of money. He has always come through when our dog or cat needed him. He has been my Vet for almost 10 years now and I highly recommend him!

I have been a long standing client of this clinic, seeing Dr. Dan. Dr. Dan is kind, compassionate, and explains things thoroughly without 'talking down' to his clients. One of my dogs has had a very complex medical condition requiring dozens of blood tests, and Dr. Dan always reviewed the tests with me quickly and thoroughly. That said, I did require a referral to southern Ontario for a final diagnosis and the ultimate care she required. I would definitely recommend Dr. Dan as a veterinarian. However, I would NOT recommend Dr. Suitor. I have had to deal with him a couple of times, when Dr Dan was away and my dogs needed to get in i.e. for suture removal. Dr. Suitor was always abrupt, quiet, and seemed almost 'moody'. I have yet to see him smile or greet any of the clients who walks in the door, myself included.
