This is an amazing clinic. I felt welcome and cared for, from the moment I called with questions. The staff and vets are all so nice! They took time to get lots of information about me cat’s issues, and offered me options to consider. Their prices are fair, especially given the great service I get each and every time. Highly recommended!

My parents took their dog and two cats to Dr Langlais when I was a teen. So, after knowing how great she was with them, of course I took my own pets there many years later. Dr. Louise offers us choices for our pets' care, usually a more conservative option and a more intensive one. She will explain the pros and cons of each and letnus decide which we prefer. I like her calm confidence when things are serious, and how her concern for all of us shows in every appointment.

My old dog and I have had an exceptionally positive experience here since she was 8 weeks old; both Drs. Louise and Jennifer are caring, invested vets. I have found them to consistently give me good options for care, and have given me pros and cons of different treatments and approaches that can be taken with my pup. They have the well being of my dog at heart, and I know how carefully they assess and weigh recommendations for her care. I have found the value for money to be exceptional - perhaps they don't offer the cheapest options available (?) but they have always offered us great value for what we receive, and I've never regretted the approaches to her care that we've collaboratively selected. Their practice is clean, ethically sound, and patient-centred. Highly recommend.

Just moved to Cambridge and found the service at this clinch to be very good. My dog Spencer is a bit timid but the doctors and Staff took their time so he was not stressed during his exam.

I always go to the Myers Road Veterinary Clinic but today it was closed and so I went to the Hespeler Animal Hospital. I know both are associated with eachother. I love my vet, Dr. Louise Langlais. She is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. She has helped all of my pets so far with treatment on the first bat and right away knows what is wrong with them. I love someone so passionate and intelligent in their career. Not to mention all the staff, who are all so friendly and love seeing my pets! It makes the vet trip for them all that more comforting. Miami loved all the staff who thought he was so cute ... I know he loved that attention. Thank you for being so kind

We gave this clinic a try but Dr Louise always seemed rude to us, passive aggressive comments under her breath and seemed afraid of dogs. The bills also seemed very high and we have had many dogs and spent a lot over the years. This was by far the worst vet experience we ever had.

Only kind words for this vet clinic!! The staff and doctors go above and beyond for you and your animals! They care about the well-being and health of your animal so much that I often find them accommodating me last minute or calling to check in to make sure my fur-baby is still doing fine. Dr.Langlais and Dr.Gibson are both extremely wonderful doctors and I would recommend them to all my friends and family. They take their time with you and make sure you understand whats going on with your pets health. They recommend only whats needed and dont push product on you. Thanks again for taking such good care of Fluffy!

Simply tops in diagnostic, dental, surgical and palliative care. They have cared for 19 canine and feline pets in our charge over 25 years. Not once have we felt that our animals were receiving substandard or unnecessary treatments. Options are always weighed. The bottom line in all cases is and has been eliminating pain and suffering and enhancing the quality of life, just the same as humans are treated. The job of a vet is very difficult as our animals cannot communicate through verbal language. As pet owners, in a province with universal health care, the actual cost for our human health procedures is hidden from us. So often we are surprised at the cost for these same procedures our pets need. It is a privilege to be a pet owner and a blessing to I know I can receive the best care for any symptoms my pets present at Hespeler Animal Hospital. Our list is long: wellness, heart disease, lacerations, kidney failure, abcesses, hypothyroid illness, cancer, parasites, allergies ...

I was dealing with Dr louise for years and I had taken my dog in on March 19 2015 for a nail trim. when he came out of the room his noise was bleeding which it has never happen before she said it was because he was so stressed and his teeth were bad and wanted to book emergency surgery on his mouth. I was appalled to see when they opened up my file of my dog they had a newspaper clipping in there of myself from five years ago when I had won some money on the lottery now why would she post that to my file??? I told her I would take him some where else to get his mouth checked as she charged me 3,000 dollars to do dental work on my other dog. So she took it upon herself to call the human society to say I was not taking care of my dog I love my animals like my children and would not allow them to suffer. I think maybe she was a little upset that I seen she had posted the newspaper clipping to my file and I was not impressed by it at all. It made me feel like it was put there so she could

My grandmother's cat has allergies and visits the vet often. She is always met with respect and her cat is always treated with the best of care. She can not fault this clinic in any way

Please read our response to the rating just below this one...
I just reviewed the file for this particular kitty. I understand the owners being upset at losing their beloved pet and they have my sincere condolences.
However, what they say I said is not what my notes on the medical record show. Whisky had a mass in his belly, likely cancer. He did have some dental disease but that was not his main issue. Our focus at Hespeler Animal Hospital is on what is best for our patients. We try to work within pet owners budgets, and it certainly is not all about the money. Yes, we have to charge for our services, but this is secondary to doing what is right. I feel sad that these pet owners came away with a different impression. I wish they had picked up the phone to talk to me rather than place this negative rating on this web page; I am sure we could have sorted this all out if they had.

The staff is pretty good with the animals but the vets are not! I will not be going back here. Took my cat into see the vet after he stopped eating, and I was told that he had stage 2 tooth decay and was recommend surgery even though he was 17 yrs old, when I told her my worries she still pushed the surgery and said he would most likely be fine. He didn't even get the chance to have the surgery b/c less then a week later he died in my husbands arms, I was so upset, I went there scared that my cat was going to die and she made me feel like it was going to be okay. How does a cat who only has stage 2 tooth decay end up dead less then a week later I ask? I also have had my dog there and basically had to threaten to leave to get her to listen to me about him. I always felt like they cared more about how much was in my wallet than my pets. I am currently looking for a new vet, one that will not only listen to me but care about my animals not just my wallet.

I am a VSTEP program student and fortunately I got my placement in this wonderful clinic. This was a great experience for me to be trained in this perfect clinic. They are helping animals as much as they can in humane way as they consider the financial condition of the owner.
Dr louise and Dr Jennifer have high standard level of veterinary medical and surgical skills and qualities as they follow the updated guide line for everything they do which enables them to offer high quality of veterinary services.
I was so impressed with the perfect anaesthetic protocol they are using as they consider how to perform the surgery with no pain or suffer to the animal.
As they have a very good team work. Really I wanna say to them good job just keep going.

It seems we live in a world where more often than not people prefer to take the time and effort involved to complain about something rather than give praise when it is deserved. Dr. Langlais, we have always held you and your practice in very high regard. 2 amazing dogs later, we now understand why Hespeler Animal Hospital was recommended to us 13+ years ago. It has been our complete pleasure to know you & your wonderful well-chosen support staff. We’ve learned a lot from you over the years which have made us better pet owners, plus you've never failed us. Dr. Gibson, you have an extremely soft and gentle mannerism and your disarming openness and amazing compassion helped make our beloved Lucy’s last day on earth bearable for us and I am sure for Lucy as well. Please don’t ever lose those qualities. So, on behalf of our two precious Yorkies Lucy and Shanty, Rick and myself, and with the most sincere appreciation to you all, thank you for taking such good care of all of us.

re: Dr. Louise Langlais, DVM. (She's at Myers Rd Vet too) This women is so rude! My cat has bloodwork done every six mths and a check up once a year to recieve her pills that she takes everyday. I called to have my cat in asap due to me leaving for vacation soon. They said bring her in at 9am, so I did. They took her blood, gave me her pills n' I went on my way. While I was on vacation I got an i-rate voicemail from the vet herself saying that what "I" did was illegal n' accused me of jepordizing her practice. My cat was should have had a checkup to legally recieve her pills! (I didn't sneak my cat in n' take her blood mysef!) She shoulda blamed her receptionist for allowing that n' not informing me that she needed a check up too! I'm beyond discusted with the way she spoke to me, n' blamed me for thier mistake! This is not the first or second incident I've had with this unprofessional vet, but it will be the last. Save yourself the headache of going to this vet!!!

Went to Hespeler Animal Hospital with my dog Snoopy.Staff was friendly and took great care of him during his shots and afterwards with his dental surgery.Highly recommended.

The staff loves my pet and it shows in the quality of the care I got from everyone. Dr Langlais was very kind and took the time to explain everything that was going on. The staff even carried my big bag of dog food to my car for me!

Amazing vet clinic in Cambridge. The staff there are so friendly and helpful. The Doctors are wonderful and give my dogs the absolute best care possible. I recently had to put my 13yr old dog down. It was extremely difficult but everyone there were so sympathic and caring. If you need a vet in Cambrige you definatly will not be disappointed here.

Dr Langlais and Dr Gibson really care about me and my pets. I never feel rushed and they're quick to return my phone calls. They even send me emails with attached handouts and links to helpful web pages, if I need more information about what's going on with my dog. The staff are very friendly too.

Very friendly staff, they are amazing with my dog, give great advice even over the phone, never any trouble getting a appt fast, and they are open late. Can be a tad expensive, but they are even working on that!
