I cannot believe the dedication Dr. Weldy has for his patients! I've known him for years and he's been my veterinarian for all my dogs. Once such incident occurred when my dog was suffering from seizures. He actually took my dog home to watch him overnight, sleeping on his kitchen floor next to him. It breaks my heart to hear people bad-mouth him when he sacrafices so much for his patient's care.

I've Dr Weldy for more than 20 years. I met him when my iguana had an unfortunate accident & snapped it's tail. (almost completely off & the tendons were sticking out) Dr Weldy came to my work place on his day off, stiched the tail back together@ no charge. He is truly in it for the animals!

I have had one beloved dog (Kona, rottie) put to sleep by Dr. Weldy and I can assure you, his heart is 100% for taking care of the animal. He was absolutely wonderful and I can not say enough about Dr. Weldy and the care that he gave us for her entire life. Just recently, we had to take our new Roxy who is also a rottie back in because of a bladder infection. She ended up having to have surgery and Dr. Fisher removed at least 4 HUGE stones that were in her bladder. Roxy is back to normal and all healed thanks to the wonderful work of this office. We are very careful in spending unneccesary money and although the bills have been high (Roxy also had her knee done) they also gave us wonderful care. I would trust my animals 100% with both dr.'s and would not think twice of taking them here. I recommend to everyone!

We own a 41 lb sulcata tortoise. He was run over by a 5 ton truck that crushed the front part and underside of his shell. We live in San Bernardino Co. & called approx. 15-20 local vets to get treatment for our turtle. Outside of the SD Zoo, there is no one in with the qualifications & experience to make the repairs or turtle required. Dr. Fisher of his staff met with us, explained the extent of the damages, and assured us that they would do their best. That was on Sat. morning. Surgery was done Mon. morning and we picked him up Tues. afternoon. He still has a long way to go to reccover, but he would not have had a chance if not for Dr. Weldy, Dr. Fisher and their staff. There is no one better when it comes to herpetology and the treatment of exotic animals. Their staff is caring and patient and take the time with you that you need, especially since we had no prior experience with turtles, let alone dealing with the extensive injuries ours had. They are no question the best.

Very uncaring doctors(Dr. Weldy mostly) that took advantage of the situation. They quoted me a price, and when i returned it had doubled, and i did not authorize the treatment that he proposed. They would not let me talk to them regarding the obscene bill, and treated me as if it was a conveyer belt of animals coming in, and mine was just another on the line. Do not reccomend him at all, and plan to lodge a complaint with the Veterinary Board. People should not be taken advantage of because they simply love their pets.

Scott has been taking care of my parrot for years. He is an EXCELLENT avian vet; in fact, I know live in Riverside County, but continue to have Scott tend to my birds. I recommend him highly.
