Unnecessary expensive surgery was performed on my dog, the doctor is incompetent, made a bad decision on our expense! Did not listen to us! What a horrible experience!
We took there our 8 months old beagle with diarrhea, vomiting and high fever. They ran all kinds of tests, blood work, x-rays of his stomach, and did not come up with anything conclusive. However they were really pushing the idea that him, being so young, probable ate something, which was blocking his intestines, which would require a very expensive intrusive surgery. We did not believe that theory and told them to keep him there over night, and watch him. We were going to make a decision based on his condition in a morning, and the doctor agreed. After putting him on antibiotics and IV, dog’s temperature was dropping and we were relieved, thinking that the worst was over. However, the doctors' shift changed, and new doctor came in, reviewed Oscar’s papers and called us late evening. She was really pushing f
