My family brought our new Maltese Puppy to the VCA. They offered a free initial exam to new customers. I was very impressed by the warm personalities of all the staff and the great bedside manner they had with our puppy. All of the staff was very knowledgable and genuinely cared about the animals in their care. They provided us with a puppy information kit that we took with us, that had so much information in it, we will not be wanting for answers. They were extremely thorough and gentle and even took our puppy on a small tour of the facility and introduced him to some of the other animals that were there. Another thing that appealed to me, was the fact that they are a chain clinic and have over 500 clinics nationwide, so if something happens to our puppy while we are traveling, chances are we will be able to bring him to another VCA clinic where they will have all of his electronic records. They seemed slightly higher priced than some clinics, but worth every penny.
