Even tho the outcome was not favourable I appreciate the fact that they were honest to tell me surgery is not beneficial at this point and my little gal is better left untreated. Super clean facility. It was busy but did not feel crowded. Pricey but everything is nowadays. I will come back if necessary RID: 71033
Click to report rating    10/15/14   1     1     1     1   I spent 4 hours waiting to have my dog looked at. They charged me nearly $200 dollars and did nothing. The vet did not examine the dog at all and if she had treated her it would have cost me another $300 or more. So basically I paid just to sit and waiste 4 hours of my time. They did not provide a report or any documentation. Terrible service. All they do is take your money. I was not the only one the lady who went before got the same treatment and left furious. Her dog was bleeding and they said they could not find any cuts on her but did not bother to wash or clean her and would not allow the owner to speak to the vet or get a report! Honestly it is a massive scam. Do not take your pet here. RID: 54088
Click to report rating    9/9/11   4     5     1     1   I took my pet in to get testing as the regular vet wasn't equipped. The staff were very kind, attentive&seemed very compassionate. They took a lot of time with me,answered my questions even when I called back. The facility seems top notch but only rich people can afford the care.I really wish that there would be programs put in place so that everyone could access the care that is needed when a pet is in trouble®ular vets clearly don't cut it.Care for the animal should come first.Surely they could figure out something like hiring vet students to do something to alleviate costs.I was told I could "surrender" my pet even though I clearly stated I could manage up a couple of thousand. They would then do the surgery for free but then they would basically auction off my pet. That I thought was a highly inappropriate suggestion considering I was able to pay but up to a reasonable amount.Expecting people to come up with huge sums of money is unfair. You would hope that pets welfare comes first. Click to report rating    4/28/11   5     5     5     5   We will forever be grateful for the hospital staff including Dr. Duque and Dr. Halling who saved our dog's (Samson)life and made him walk again! The neurology department staff is wonderful as is everyone who served us and worked to heal Samson. The technicians also showed and cared for our dog with outstanding compassion. They were always available to answer questions and let us call anytime for updates after his surgery. For visits they put us in a cozy beautiful room and let stay as long as we wanted. This place is fantastic. In some ways, the care, concern and skills outweighs many human hospitals. The place is immaculate. We are awestruck. They saved our dog's life who was lame and couldn't walk-- now he does! Thank you thank you thank you. You are all wonderful. You are the best. RID: 24670
4/13/11   2     5     1     1   Apparently I was not aware that I had to be rich to have a family pet. Took my very young puppy there and was pretty much told immediatly it was probably going to die and then 7000.00 dollars later she may make it but no gaurantees and problem may arise again even though not sure what the cause was or is???? Even though the facilities are huge I am suprised at how some animals who seem to still be in a recovery stage are just laying on a blanket on the floor? I am sure that poor person has paid a huge sum to have there animal lying about after surgery like that. Somebody tell Donald Trump he can own a pet please as he has this kind of money to throw around. Never again. RID: 24351
Click to report rating    2/18/11   4     5     4     5   I credit the critical care doctor and staff for saving our dogs life. The doctor knew what she was talking about and made us feel as comfortable as possible in a horrible situation. Yes, it was expensive (as all veterinary help is), but they did all they could to keep costs reasonable for us. I hope to never need to return, but would trust them again in an emergency. RID: 22979
Click to report rating    1/1/11   1     1     1     1   these people I wont call them vets because they aren't nearly killed my cat and charged me $2000 for doing it. I removed my half dead cat from their non-care and took it to my own vet who managed to save its life, and told us that had the vets at this clinic not removed a catheter 3 time and had just left it in to clear his bladder - it should have been left in 48 hrs, it wasn't even left in 4 hours- he would have been fine and the bill would not have been so high, they charged us everytime the catheter had to be put back, when it shouldnt have been removed to start with. After 48 hrs of catheter at my vet my guy was back on his feet and home. The vet we delt with lied lied lied lied about what he was doing with our cat and the staff was as very rude. They nearly killed my cat and didn't even care. RID: 21725
Click to report rating    10/8/10   4     5     4     4   We went to this clinic several times a week for physiotherapy for my dog. The physiotherapist (Sabri) is wonderful and caring and went above and beyond for our dog. The neurologist was also great. However we were unimpressed by some of the office staff as well as the emergency vet we saw (unfortunately I cannot remember her name) RID: 20138
Click to report rating    9/18/10   1     3     1     1   Large fairly modern facility--but I expect that and more when I am charged exorbitant prices. If you have money to burn then this might be a place to consider. Several thousand dollars later and they still do knot know what is wrong with my cat. The vets do not return phone calls but at least allow you to visit with your animal. I would never go to this facility again. RID: 19796
Click to report rating    7/21/10   5     5     5     5   Best emergency clinic I have ever been to. The facility is beautiful and the technicians are the best around! High marks on all accounts! RID: 18876
Click to report rating    8/11/09   2     4     1     1   Extremely expensive. They did nothing for my dog, ran expensive tests, and told me she probably* maybe* has spinal problems or gas? Hrmmm, I got no diagnosis, but was a thousand dollars poorer. The neurologist who suspected the spinal problems, said she wanted to take an extra x-ray image (on top of the ones the hospital already took), and told me that she will call me the next day to discuss the results. I never heard from this "concerned" neurologist again (I've left multiple messages). And unlike she said, my dog did not regress throughout the week, she was better the day we took her home. So, it seems I paid over a thousand dollars for a bad case of gas. Yes! RID: 13803
Click to report rating    7/1/09   5     5     5     4   This is the best place to take your Cat or Dog in an emergency. It is brand new, has every piece of equipment needed, and the staff are great. I have used both the referral (optomalogist & neurologist) and the emergency and was very happy. It is expensive, but they provide the best care around. All the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and they really do go beyond and above to help your animal in a crisis situation. RID: 13354
