We just moved to Asheville last year. We didn't plan on having a dog but after finding her in the woods we couldn't turn her sweet soul away. Haw Creek was the first place we contacted and boy we lucked out! Dr. Sinclair has been amazing with our senior dog who turned out to have extensive intestinal issues that turned into two surgeries. Our dog was so at ease with the staff and I never felt nervous about leaving her over night. We knew right away our dog was in great hands. They saved her life and we are so grateful to Dr. Sinclair and her staff. They are knowledgeable, kind, honest, and willing to help.

We have used Haw Creek for several years and Dr. Sinclair, Dr. Feiler, and their staff have always been wonderful. They spend a lot of time with each patient and always answer questions thoroughly. They offer holistic and conventional medicine as well as services for exotics. The staff is also supportive of animal rescue and recently had a week called “NC Week for the Animals” where 10% of each day’s income was given to local animal groups. They added evening hours when clients requested this and seem to go out of their way to ensure that everyone—animals and people—are happy during their visits.

I have been using Dr. Sinclair’s office and services for years now for my cat, Athena.Athena is a ill-mannered, large Siamese with attitude problems.She hates her annual exam and she makes a show of hating Dr. Sinclair, but of the 7 vets I’ve tried only Dr. Sinclair has made it through an exam unscathed, and without doing any harm to my particular curmudgeon of a cat.Other vets hurt her, or were impatient.I am an Asperger’s Autistic.People in general terrify me, but during the introductory processes that led up to any trust based relationship–and I trust Heather Sinclair with my only “child” – these people were consistently patient, of both my cat and myself.During one crisis situation wherein Athena’s life was in danger,I felt ok.I KNEW that everyone knew what they were doing and that Athena was in the best of hands.I live over an hour from Dr. Sinclair’s offices, but I take Athena there for all of her routine care.Dr. Heather Sinclair and staff ARE the best.Highly recommended.

I have been a happy client of Dr. Sinclair and her practice for several years now, from general prevention to current treatment of our two elder dogs who have Cushing disease and pancreatitis. Her compassion and attentiveness in answering endless questions is truly appreciated. It is also wonderful to have blended choices from the latest holistic and traditional approaches Haw Creek offers. After going to many vets, I can say she is the best and very much worth it! The staff is also professional, kind, and responsive. It is a great comfort to have their excellent care as they help our dogs age gracefully.

Dr. Sinclair is hands down the absolute best veterinarian I have ever met. Her devotion and dedication to her patients (human, canine, feline, or otherwise) is unwavering. She is the type of veterinarian most people only dream of finding. Her services literally saved my German Shepard, Fly, from an otherwise certain death. I cannot recommend her enough. The staff at Haw Creek is also exemplary and should be lauded for all of the phenomenal work they collaboratively do. Fred the cat, who greats all clients, is also worth his weight in gold (just don't tell him!). I cannot recommend this clinic enough.
