I recently rescued a dog from a kill shelter. Young and I thought healthy. Turned out to have a few correctable problems. With Dr. Knapke's help, we were able to get him healthy. The dog needed an eyelid surgery, corrective dentristy for enamel damage to his canines, treatment for rocky-mountain spotted fever, whip worms, hookworms and neutering. Literally a whole laundry list of issues. I thought I'd gotten myself way in over my head and wasn't sure I would be able to afford all of that. Surprisingly, it was all as handled in the same office, no need to go to specialists, what a relief. I am grateful that this Doctor had enough experience and expertise in all those fields. I could not have afforded to go to 2 specialists, one for the eye and one for the teeth. My dog is doing wonderfully now. Thanks to all the staff for their help. Dr. Knapke is kind of quiet, but he is excellent. I am so grateful to him.
