I have taken my litle shi-poo to Dr. Jones for 14 years. He hasalways taken wonderful care of her and still is. Also my malti-poo is his patient. I find him very compassionate and a very concerned Dr. He is the best.

Another bad experience - plus what we have noticed with MANY veterinarians around our area is they are NOT comfortable with Large breeds and they are in it for the $$$$$ only not the welfare and care of your animal-it is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack ! We have had 3 of our animals diagoniosed with things that they DID NOT have !! Yes, FALSE findings - how do we know-the patient can't tell you !! Most of these stay in business from BREEDERS !

I don't know about that. My husband and I have tried other Vets in Hernando and have been very pleased with the care Dr. Jones gives. He's more thorough and a little more advanced than the others were. I don't know how anybody could give his facility a score of 2 out of 5. His office is brand new in a brand new building.

I love Dr Jones, I am so glad he is back in town. He is caring and reasonably priced.

IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PET DO NOT TAKE THEM TO GARRISON ANIMAL HOSPITAL. I TOOK MY DOG THERE BECAUSE HE WAS PULLING HAIR FROM ONE SPOT. AFTER A SLIPSHOD EXAM I WAS TOLD TO PURCHASE MEDICINE AND APPLY IT TWICE A DAY. AFTER 5 DAYS MY DOG WAS NO BETTER. I TOOK HIM TO ANOTHER VET WHO DID A CAREFUL EXAMINATION AND FOUND A SEBACEOUS CYST. ONCE THE CYST WAS TAKEN CARE MY DOG RECOVERED QUICKLY. GARRISON ALSO BILLS ITSELF AS A FULL SERVICE VET. THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE AN ULTRASOUND! PLEASE USE ANOTHER VET AND DO NOT GO TO GARRISON ANIMAL HOSPITAL IN HUDSON.

This is my dog's usual vet - so he is an established patient. I called first and brought my dog in as an emergency as he didn't want to walk and was lethargic. Dr. Jones took my dogs temp which was low, did ONE xray and gave me a pamphlet for Florida Veterinary Services in Tampa telling me to call them for an appt as my dog may have cancer. I knew more than Dr. Jones that something was wrong and my dog needed help ASAP and that I didn't have time to drive to Tampa. I drove to another vet in Pasco county who took multiple blood tests and multiple abdominal and chest x-rays. My dog was bleeding internally and was rushed into surgery. He would have died from internal bleeding if I hadn't gotten him to a qualified vet when I did. So now you can make your own decision about Dr. Jones and Garrison animal hospital.
