I have used Johnson veterinary for 19 years. My animals never have been mistreated ever. I left another local veterinarian because they told me my dog at 4 years old had heartworm disease. Dr Johnson did the next round of tests and my dog was actually negative,she lived until she was 14 years old.

I have been using johnsons for 13 yrs have always been happy it is true that there was another male vet there for a while but gone now. I understand that business's make changes but I can say I only see and ask for Dr. Johnson he has been a vet for 30 yrs. I trust him and him only.

Great Service and value for past nine years including boarding. They care about your animal and dont try to hustle you for every buck.

I had been going to Johnson for over 5 years. The quality of care has gone down significantly. I do agree with other comments that they seem to be taking on too many patients and attention to detail, with the exception of billing, has plummeted. One of my pets is currently being treated by a new vet after sustaining an injury (a burn sustained by a heating pad during recovery from surgery) at the hands of negligent staff at Johnson. ALL of my animals, and as many other owners that I can speak to in the Merrimack Valley, will be transferring to other offices. Please do your research and make sure you feel 100% comfortable with whose hands you put your animals lives into. I should have left Johnson before something like this happened, but now that it has, I am not going quietly.

For years, I brought my pets to Mike Johnson. Unfortunately, the last several vets to practice with him have been terrible, and it appears that the one thing they do know how to do is collect money.... last time I went, the new woman vet stuck my dog three times trying to take blood. All done here.

I have used Johnsons for almost 10 years, but over the past 2-3 years it seems they have taken on too many patients without enough personnel. Staff members consistently seem distracted and disorganized, which can't help but affect patient care. I will be switching to another vet.

BEWARE of the veterinarian that is more interested in making money, than the welfare of the animals he is "treating". I had been going to this establishment for years, but once the fabulous Margaret Linnell, DVM left so did the heart and soul of the practice. Unfortunately, one of my pets paid dearly for my realizing this change too late. Time to find a new vet.
