Click to report rating    12/13/13   4     3     3     3   I have been a client here for 12+ years (2 cats). Their facilities are clean and adequate. I have had great experiences with Dr. Thomas and Dr. Dietlich. They may not be the cheapest around but I don’t think they take advantage of the you either. When my cats have been sick they’ve outlined the minimum and maximum course and cost of action. There have been times when they haven’t been able to diagnose the problem but have prescribed a solution which resolved the issue and since cats can’t talk I suppose one can’t always definitively make a diagnosis unless the owner is willing to spend whatever it takes and I can’t do that. They are generally on time or at least don’t leave you waiting more than 5-10 minutes. They do push pet insurance brochures and other medications and treatments that I don’t think are necessary for indoor cats but I suppose that makes sense since their goal should be the wellbeing of the animal and mine is to provide appropriate care within a given budget. Click to report rating    7/28/09   2     5     3     1   The facility is brand new and beautiful. However, the staff treated me like I was a paycheck. I brought my sick dog to them and they wanted me to agree to pay a $700.00 bill that was just an estimate. She was not new to their clinic and they knew us both for several years. When I couldn't pay it all immediately, they wanted me to predate checks. This was all BEFORE they treated my dog. I ended up bringing her to a vet that a friend recommended and paying $75.00 with a caution to watch her in case she worsened. Turned out that vet was right (now my vet, Linwood Animal Hospital in Lowell), she had a pulled muscle. I felt like they leaped to the worst possibility for a dog that was walking, eating, and sleeping- just clearly uncomfortable. Again, I was their paycheck that day. RID: 13638
