Our dog had a seizure. We were seen upon entry immediately by the vet tech then waited a limited amount of time to see the vet. (This is our families vet. ) They dropped everything to see us. The same thing happened with our cat yrs ago when he stopped peeing. The owner Oliver told me to come in immediately they dropped everything? This is all you need in a vet but they also exceed all other expectations!

_Was lied to twice by reception that they would be able to work out a payment plan with me. We had a very clear conversation. Drove 40 mins in traffic there to find out that they did not have a payment plan option. no staff would admit at that time to having this very clear conversation with me. Manager followed up a day or two later and mentioned a staff finally admitted talking with me when booking the initial appointment but denied lying to me and giving me this mis information that they would do a payment plan. I mentioned to the manager that I felt a discounted x ray would be appropriate in this situation. She said so we dont do that. Okay here is your free advertisement lady !! :) good day.

Sloppy record keeping. The techs recorded the wrong dates for vaccines and insisted my dog needed a rabies vaccine when he wasn't due for two years. When I got home and confirmed dates by my own paperwork records, I called them and there was only blame, no real apology and no offer to refund in whole or in part the vaccine he didn't need and only got because of their inaccurate records. They also hauled my reactive and severely anxious dog out into the waiting room with other animals and people around and yelled at him when he growled about this. Not sure how they employ techs with no understabding of fear aggression in dogs. I switched clinics.

Their scheduling system does not work. I send them emails to inform them of the problem and they send me spam back.

Angel has been looked after well by the staff and the doctors at the clinic. I have always got proper advice and method of treatment, which has benefitted Angel more and also brought my peace of mind. Angel has been a healthy dog, thanks to the doctors and staff who regularly check his health during his annual visits.

I started coming here as a child and now take my pets there. Knowledgeable and friendly staff and great doctors. The place is always clean and it doesn't have that "hospital" smell.

Jane Animal Hospital has gone above and beyond with the care of my cat. He started having behavioral issues with the arrival of our second child, and I turned to the hospital for advice. They suggested several different things I could try to correct his behavior and would phone me regularly to check-in and see how he was doing. When things weren’t getting any better and he started to act out aggressively towards my children, Brigitte (one of their vet technicians) created some adoption flyers and put them up for me. When we hadn’t received any responses, she then personally made arrangements to have him placed in a loving new home. Our cat is much happier now in his new child-free home and I’m very grateful to Brigitte and the team for all of their help!

Let me start off by saying that I have an absolutely adorable lemon of a mastiff. The team of staff has always been patient in answering all of my questions and Dr. Sterbinsky has gone above and beyond in researching all of her various conditions to give me all the options to make and keep my dog healthy. They also arranged for a surgeon to come in for my dog's two cruciate (TPLO) surgeries rather than having me go to another hospital which made travel arrangements easy and allowed me feel comfortable knowing she was in the best hands and a familiar environment. Nobody likes paying vet bills but for my special pup I would only trust the best and I feel they're worth every penny.

Brought our pups in for second set of boosters. They were both given bordatella vaccines, an optional vaccine we did not request. They were also given the lepto vaccine which we did consent to but we weren't given enough info on. One of my pups went into liver and kidney failure that night and it took the vet three full days to recommend we go to emergency. Having now done some research I realize the vet should've known better than to give them that vaccine, or even all three at once. The side effects of that vaccine do not outweigh the benefits. Also had a similar experience with a fecal test they never did we were charged for right after they were just dewormed. My other pup also had a severe auto-immune reaction and developed poly-arthritis. I put my full trust in them and they almost killed one of my pups and left me $15000 in debt from emergency bills. Save yourself some grief and go somewhere else where the well-being of your pet comes before their bottom line.

You know, I was kinda surprised by the comments some people left. I really feel as a client of Jane Animal Hospital for almost 7 years with my cats and one that values their service I had to leave feedback so others can get a true understanding of their quality of care. It's unfortunate the rating system does not have "quality of care" as a category as this animal hospital is definitely a 5. Since taking both my cats there I have seen the same doctors, mainly Dr. Stacey. That's 7 years of seeing the same set of doctors. So, often change of doctors is NOT true. Also the same goes for the staff I usually see the same very knowledgable staff every time. That says something about the clinic and business. Second, the hospital has been nothing but thorough in helping me with my first kitten and the knowledge I need to know as a pet owner. It is a big responsibility and I want to know as much as I can regardless if I can afford everything, at least I know my options. I'll always go to Jane.

Staff were friendly. Facilities were just okay. Was seen 30 minutes late. Felt like I was being sold tests I didn't need. I've been to better vet clinics. Will probably never go back.

we went here once and had a bad feeling about all the things Dr. Stacey was telling us we needed for our cat. we went to another place (bloor animal hospital, they are amazing!) and we learned so much about our diabetic cat, and just how much Stacey was trying to rip us off. including selling us allergy medicine which contains ingredients that can be very harmful for diabetics, and should not have been given to our cat. we were very upset with how little he cared about our cat.

I was new to the area and started using this vet as my original vet was too far. When I went for my puppy's annual check up, I was talked into unnecessary shots by the male vet. He advised that I should give my puppy another rabbie shot eventhough she had received one the year before and it should be good for two years. He reasoned that because it wasn't given at their clinic he couldn't be sure it was a two year shot. I should have validated this information with my previous vet but instead I gave him the benefit of the doubt in looking after my pup's best interest. It was a cash grab, my bill came out to just over $500. Coincidently, my pup began having seizures that year as well. Once I switch back to my old vet (eventhough it meant an extra 40 minute drive), she informed me he had also unnecessarily vaccinated on another item. I will never and have never gone back to Jane Animal Hospital. Back at my old vet and my pup is doing fine and has thankfully not had a seizure this
