Click to report rating    6/21/13   5     5     5     5   I have been a client for over 20 years. Had tried other vets in the past and this group is simply the best. Can't say enough good things about the care the doctors have given my dogs from surgery over the years to putting down a dog when its time and the office staff- total care and compassion for evry client. I have had emergencies and called the office after hours - you receive a recording which gives you the number of an emergency vet facility and I have used them. I felt they did a good job and they reported back to mountainside. RID: 43248
Click to report rating    9/2/11   4     4     4     4   It's a nice enough place but not only are they closed on weekends, no one is on call. I wasn't smart enough to ask for a cell number over a holiday weekend a few days after my dog's surgery. We ended up in the ER and he had to be put to sleep. It would sure have been nice to be able to call my regular vet for a consult when faced with complex medical decisions. It was Christmas weekend but several vets are Jewish so I feel like they could have been on call with no family/holiday conflicts. RID: 27341
Click to report rating    10/27/10   1     5     5     2   I ABSOLUTELY would not recommend this vet! To err is human, but I had 2 instances with this practice that placed my dogs' life in jeopardy. First was 5 years ago. I had my dog in for an annual checkup with chest x-rays. Chest x-rays were a routine request as my dog had previously suffered from a spontaneous pneumothorax. Long to short - having previous years x-rays for comparison, this 1 looked suggestive of a pneumothorax. The vet assured me my dog was fine. Approx 5 days later my dog was at the vet with a spontaneous pneumothorax (collapsed lungs), cyanotic & needed major lung surgery. Most recently, another of my dogs was prescribed an antibiotic which, unbeknownst to the vet, is commonly toxic to the breed. My dog went into liver failure. At onset, he was so weak he could not stand on his own & for 3+ wks needed to be force fed. Fortunately he survived. Confronted with this oversight, the vet held me responsible for the bill resulting from the insult to my dogs liver. RID: 20531
Click to report rating    4/14/10   5     5     5     5   Great Facility, staff and vets. Cant say enough. They definitely care for the animals and keep you informed of what is going on. I brought my dog(Snoopy) in very sick and was in front of DR Symonds within 5 minutes. Snoopy was in for a total of 4 days and I honestly believe it saved his live. Tried other Vets before but none can compare. RID: 17517
Click to report rating    6/14/08   5     5     5     5   Awesome staff and excellent facilities! Friendly and curtesious staff and extra clean hospital. I couldn't pick a favorite doctor if I had to. Each has his/her own style, but all very through and helpful, even on days you know have been crazy! Front desk and Technicians are always friendly and extremely helpful. Love MVH! RID: 8895
Click to report rating    10/29/07   5     5     5     5   We love this place, and so does our dog. It's true, the vets treat your pet like it's their own. They are always understanding and very good at what they do. They diagnosed our dog with lymphoma when we came in to have a titer done. They are meticulous, and the best vet we've been to. RID: 6300
Click to report rating    6/20/07   5     5     5     5   Client of over 18 years. My cats are always treated very well and the diagnostic skills are great.Staff treats the cats like they are their own.I couldn't imagine taking them anywhere else for treatment. They offer many types of surgery and the doctors specialize in different fields of expertise.. Worth every $$$ to me for my fur kids. RID: 4658
Click to report rating    12/5/06   5     5     4     5   I love this place! My cats even like it there, and the vets will sit on the floor to coax my poor little scared dog. The hospital stays current on medical and behavioral issues, and each vet takes extra time to be sure their clients - animal and human - feel better. Also, even though they don't have overnight/emergency hours, they will fit clients with problems in SOMEHOW. Its amazing that they can have 5 vets working there and all of them seem to like animals AND people. I'm so happy that their business is expanding, too! RID: 1110
Click to report rating    12/5/06   5     5     4     5   The staff is always extremely friendly and willing to answer any questions or concerns you may have. The facilities are spotless and my dogs love going. I board my dogs there frequently and the staff is always willing to give me an HONEST update on how they are doing. RID: 1095
