I have been with Court St Vet since 2011 when I got my boy who was rescued from a feral forest where he got infected with FIV after a fight, I'm on ODSP and do not have not one credit card, the staff has been great and wonderful and Dr. Julia doesn't beat around the bush when she's telling you what's best for your loved one, but as far as vets go, she's nothing like the vet on Welland who abuses our little fur babies, sure its not cheap to have a pet and no they don't say if you don't get the money you'll have to put your pet down, no they would work out a payment plan, well I haven't had the money at times and they allow me to have to payments if needed. I just noticed not one nice or good thing was said so I had to throw my 2 cents in

I had a bad experience with this clinic; I was told not to take my pet there, even though it was an emergency and Dr Righter was the on-call vet for the weekend. My pet was kept overnight and sedated for multiple tests which I did not pre-approve, causing him to become lethargic and on the brink of death as his kidneys were failing. My regular vet informed me that an animal in kidney failure ( and not agressive ) should not have been given the drugs he was given as he was unable to metabolize them. The fee at the emergency vet was $600 , even though I did not authorize the x-rays and abdominal ultrasound that were done. When I picked up my pet to bring him to our regular vet, I was informed that I would be better off euthanizing my pet ! My regular vet examined, lovingly, my little guy and concluded that there was hope in treatment and that we were definitely not at the point of considering euthanasia! I would say BEWARE of this clinic and the uncaring vet who runs it !!
