The doctor stayed after hours to me with my sick kitty. He’s so nice and breaks down everything to explain it the best he can. The staff is amazing you can tell they really care about the animals.

Increased prices dramatically. Not everyone in Coral Springs is rich. It was great when Dr. Sands owned it, but he sold his practice.

I have been a client of Dr. Sands for almost 20 years, ever since he owned Welleby. He is the most compassionate vet that I've ever taken my pets to and has always had the most caring staff in the 40 plus years that I've been a pet owner. Dr. Sands and his staff always have the latest and newest cutting edge technology on how to treat and cure whatever illness your pet my have. I know that through the years Dr. Sands has given back to the community in many ways. 20 years ago he started "Project PUP" (Pets Uplifting People) where he would go into nursing homes with clients and their pets to bring some joy and happiness into the lives of the people living there. And this past year on Wednesday's he ran a free clinic for pets whose owners are having financial problems in these troubling times. Bottom line is, I highly reccomend Dr. Sands and the Heron Lakes Animal Hospital to anyone.

it's all about the money there - no explanations of the care- they tell you to look it up on the interent.
