I searched for a good vet for 2 years after moving to Orlando and finally found the right place in Kirkman Rd Vet Clinic.
My first visit was, sadly, an emergency. My dog was in distress several weeks after surgery at a different vet who was unavailable when this occurred. I called KRVC because they are close to my house, but didn't expect much because it was 20 minutes before closing time. They told me to come in and got me right into a room with Dr. Morgan when I arrived. Dr. M was amazingly compassionate and thorough with my dog, even though she could have rushed through everything to get out of work on time.
The entire staff was so wonderfully efficient, compassionate, and thorough that they convinced me to transfer my other animals into their care and we've been with them ever since. I worked as a licensed veterinary technician myself for 8 years before moving to Florida and I would highly recommend this clinic to anyone with pets in need of a caring, competent veterinar

I wasn't told by the prescribing vet here that the hormone drops prescribed to treat my senior dog's incontinence could cause tumors. After the vet diagnosed her large tumors a year later on an X-ray, she failed to prescribe pain medication for my dog. They would not euthanize her at my home, and my dog died in agony while I waited for another vet to come perform the procedure. Will never take my pets here again.

Dr. Chesanek has to be the rudest person I have ever met. Was not at all helpful and had a bad attitude the whole time she was dealing with my dog and myself. Appeared to be annoyed I brought a sick rescue in to her... even though that's her job and I was a paying customer. Will never go see her again.
