10/24/14   3     3     2     1   Are they friendly? Absolutely.Did the Vet tell me the wrong course of action ABSOLUTELY. I have an older pure bred dog.My dog had an ear infection. I knew that is what it was because she gets them every few years. The vet (Pal) took a one second look at her ears and said that they are extremely infected and that she needs to be sedated in order to do an earflush and several medicines would need to be prescribed (drops, antibiotics, etc..) He inspected her teeth and then recommended that I get her teeth scraped. He quoted me a bill for $830! I then took my dog to the Surrey Animal hospital. I have taken her there before. They are great there. Not only did the Vet at Surrey Hospital say that an ear flush was not necessary but that it would have actually made things worse as it was actually a yeast infection. He also inspected her teeth. NO TEETH SCRAPING NEEDED. I paid less than 1/4 of what Companion quoted. I am appalled and extremely disappointed. So glad I got a second opinion. RID: 54268
Click to report rating    4/23/14   5     5     5     5   Dr. Pal and all his staff are amazing. They are caring, knowledgeable and extremely empathetic. I have 2 cats. The older cat was infected with an intestinal parasite by my new rescue kitten. I have literally been in that hospital 3 times a week for the past 2 months. I couldn't afford all the medical treatments for the poor little kitten. I had to give him back for adoption. Dr pal has taken it upon himself to continue to treat Jack and he is getting better. My older cat Josephine is also getting better. Dr.Pal has had so much patience with me and the kitties. Many phone calls and many drop in visits later, he and his staff have always had time for me at no extra charge. I'm hoping to be able to adopt jack back as soon as he is well. I have had pets all my life and dealt with several different vets. By far, this animal hospital has the most outstanding service I have ever had. Also, just to mention, they are open 7 days a week. Dr. Pal and his staff work so hard. I am impressed. RID: 51206
Click to report rating    1/28/14   5     5     5     5   I have to say out of the many vets I've taken my animals to over the years, this is in my top two. Dr. Pal takes care of our 10 year old dog like she is his own. The staff love her and fuss over her like she's still a puppy! It's nice to see people working in a field they are passionate about, instead of choosing a field because of the money they can make from it. Everyone at companion clearly loves animals, and I'm thankful for that! Exceptional care at a reasonable price - it doesn't get much better than that. RID: 49530
Click to report rating    10/31/12   5     4     5     5   Great Doctor and Staff!! my cat got blocked and was almost dead when I took to Companion Animal Hospital, Dr Pal explained the prognosis and treatment plan in detail, provided written estimate ,no hidden charges and after 3 days of hospitalization he is happy and healthy.Even more Dr tried his best to avoid the surgery ( he explained that if Max kept on blocking they may have to change his sex surgically for permanent cure). I even signed for surgery but in the evening Dr Informed me that we dont need surgery.I saved $1200 !! For Sure they are not after money !! I will recommend to every one !!! RID: 38174
Click to report rating    7/3/12   5     5     5     5   Staff is super friendly. Facility super clean. AND Dr. Pal is fantastic! He was thorough during the checkup/vaccination process. He was also very patient when I asked questions/asked that he review dog's diet/and give recommendations. At the end, he provided me very important information re: preventive measures in caring for my senior dog. Furthermore, just as important..the cost of vaccinations is very reasonable at $43.50 (for DHPPC =covers Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis) + rabies 23.50. Checkups are free with vaccinations. At this affordable cost, no excuse to neglect vaccinating your pet...and taking him/her in for checkup). RID: 35406

Click to report rating    4/6/12   3     2     5     5   the vet is very hard to understand!he doesnt seem confident at all with what he's saying.i was there for over half an hour and no other client came in and the lines werent busy at all!i used to work as a tech in a vet clinic in cali so i know how vet clinics work.please opt to go elsewhere;there's a reason why this clinic is sooooooo cheap!!!!:( RID: 33391
3/12/12   5     5     5     5   I brought my chocolate labrador puppy in for his first shots and Dr Pal was great. He also treated my 13.5 year old yellow lab with great respect when we had to put him down. The front staff are very nice as well. All of my dog's needs will be taken care of at this clinc. Thanks again to everyone there. RID: 32832
Click to report rating    3/18/11   5     5     4     5   It was an extreme pleasure to visit this clinic. My pet was cared for the same way I would care for him. The front staff was beyond caring and Dr. Pal lives up to his name Pal. RID: 23649
10/20/10   1     3     3     1   Front staff- rude and uptight. Dr. G misdiagnosed my dog, actually her exact words were : "I can't diagnose it"- even though she had perform blood tests/urinalysis etc. Also, Dr. G gets very impatient if you ask too many questions-she literally kicks you out from the exam room. Prefers your dog to be on crap food that they sell- medical and science diet. Very old school and unknowledgable about new medical advances such as raw food, new vaccine protocols etc. Absolutely conventional RID: 20410

Click to report rating    5/24/10   5     5     5     5   oh what can i say about them.staff and the doctors are so nice to clients and to our pets also. I feel my pet really safe with this hospital. U dont need to worry about your pet when he is in the observation or treatment. Doctors have very safe hands. I am glad that i took my mori to this one and she is out of danger now.I thank the services of this hospital from the core of my heart RID: 18087
12/5/09   1     1     1     1   The front desk staff at this clinic are very friendly and caring but the same cannot be said about Dr. Grise. Initially, she seemed ok but when I brought my dog in to get his ears cleaned she actually smacked him in the face because he wasn't staying still! yes i know my dog is not the easiest dog to handle but who is she to HIT my dog! She even told me that she wishes they would stop breeding the type of dog that i have and hinted at putting him down!! If you care about your dog STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM DR. GRISE!! RID: 15610
