We brought my father's service dog in for a C-arm (type of X-ray) to diagnose her mobility problem and when I asked the vet for a copy of the report he refused, told me that it was his and for clinical purposes only. I told him that I was paying for it and was entitled to a copy for my records and he started yelling at me! Told me to leave, he couldn't help my fathers dogs because I thought I could tell him what to do. He was so agitated even after I left the exam room that I could here him yelling about me from the waiting area. This was after he told us we were lucky she made it to this age and that "I'm not God, I don't know when it will die" HE CALLED HER AN IT! Completely unprovoked, no one asked him how long she had- we were there to do whatever we could to keep her comfortable. "Do you want my help or not?" Is his favorite phrase, this one seems to think pet parents are at him mercy. I don't care how a vet treats humans but he was dismissive to our dog- shameful.
