We had been to our regular vet several times because our dog was having pain in one leg. Both legs started buckling last week. Our regular vet only knew there was a neurological problem but was uncertain about anything beyond that. She referred us to the neurology vet at VESC. After an MRI, that cost about what it would cost any human without insurance, we know exactly what the problem is and started treatment the same day. The neurologist treated us with a degree of respect and compassion that is almost unavailable in health care today. I feel proud to have a vet clinic of this quality in Santa Fe!

our dog had been bitten by another dog (unbeknownst to us) and had developed an abscess which the talented (not) doctors at this facility couldn't even find (though had they simply touched our dog in the areas in which she was collapsing they might have easily discovered the abscess). What (expensive!) idiots.

When I entered the treatment area unexpectedly, I discovered they had taped my poor dog's tail down over his anus because he had diarhhea. I guess they didn't want to clean up after the little fellow.
