I rated Halifax Veterinary 5 only because that is the highest number you offer. I personally would rate them higher. I have been a client over 20 years. I have been extremely happy with the care given. I started there when Dr. Bartos was the lone Dr. She was great and more to the point, the dogs must have like her, as it was never a problem to get them to go into the office. I think much of that had to do with the fact that the office was very clean and plesant to the senses. Anytime you are awaiting your turn, you and your pet are greeted by anyone of the staff that happens to be passing by. The Dr. that I see most now, is Dr. Kluth,,who has on at least two occasions saved by dog. Nala after inital treatment was sent to the Hospital, where I was told that, if not for Dr. Kluth's intervention Nala would not have pulled through. Each year Halifax has a festival to benefit such organizations as service dogs. Is the writer obsessed by the number of women in the office? Harold

This is a very kind group. I have been going here for over ten years. They always follow up when one of my animals is sick. Dr. Kluth is great and Dr. Bartos is the most empathetic vet I have ever used. She laughs with me and cries with me. I trust her implicitly. Both of them truly listen to me and know that when I think something is wrong that I mean it. They never brush me off nor anyone I know that uses them ever. My dogs have no fear of the vet. They actually like to go there. I like that they believe like I do in some alternatives like acupuncture which they also provide. I highly value our vet and we have six dogs so they see me way more than once a year.

We have been going to Halifax Veterinary Clinic for over 15 years. The knowledge and compassion they have for my animals has been overwhelming. Dr. Bartos has come out on a Sunday to help one of our Maltese that was in critical condition and saved her life. That kind of commitment is exemplary. If you frequent a vet often, you get to see the real behind the scenes caring going on, as my husband and I have done. We are truly blessed.

By far, this is the most unprofessional, hostile and ****iest group of women in an office I've ever dealt with. They are quite rude, very unorganized and just downright nasty. Dr. Kathy Bartos leads the way for her pack of women in her accusing and defensive way of communicating, very unprofessional for a doctor! I don't know how someone can be so nasty when they are dealing with the most loving creatures on the planet. This group should not be in the practice of veterinary care. Do not go here, there are much happier and more professional vets in Port Orange.
