Dr. Morris is no longer there, the office is run by Dr. Riar. I think he is competent, and prices are reasonable, but I don't like waiting 45 minutes every time I go in there, and for some reason there are 'record keeping' problems; twice now they couldn't find my dog's records, and when I asked for a copy of shot records I was given a copy of a cat's shot records.

The first time I took my cat to this vet, I had her shaved due to the fact she is a long haired kitty. They sent her home with me, and when I got home, she could barely walk. I think they let her go home to early, and it broke my heart to see her like that. She got out about a week ago, and something bit her tail and her rear end. We took her in right away, and the vet explained to me that they couldn't get her to cooperate, so they had to sedate her. They cleaned out her wounds and wanted us to give her antiobiotics and pain meds 2x day and clean her wounds 2x day by flushing them out and inserting antiobiotic ointment. YA RIGHT! She had a FIT when we tried to give her the medicine orally, and he thinks we'll be able to inject stuff in her wounds! I don't think so. We took her to another vet, they gave her an antibiotic shot (imagine that) and a pain patch, and told us we merely need to do warm compresses on her wounds. Not happy with their service, AT ALL!!!

Dr. Morris & her staff are wonderful. I had a small kitten (now a 2 year old cat)that ran a high fever (which is usually an indicator of something fatal). Dr. Morris clearly explained the possible causes and my options. She gave him some medication on the off-chance that he might respond (which he did). She and her staff were caring, thoughtful and professional. I since took the same cat back as he has a panting issue (he's an odd cat) and she checked him out thoroughly; even bringing in a second opinion (most likely asthma). She also takes the cost to the patient when explaining options and is very considerate in that way. (She's not trying to rack up the services to increase her profit). My cats respond well to her and we think she's great.
