Bottom line first: I took my sick dog to Klaich, got no help, requested a refund and was denied. I will never, ever go there again and I will make sure everyone I know who has pets learns of my terrible experience there.
My precious, sweet pup, a 10 lb. Yorkiepoo, stopped eating and drinking. I noticed a foul smell from her mouth. The Dr. tried to look in her mouth but, of course, she went "lock jaw" and would not let the Dr. see. The Dr. said "She won't let me look in her mouth.". Ok....find another way! YOU are the Dr. YOU are the professional....find a way! Dr. offered to do blood work but discouraged it saying "It is $125". As it turns out, bloodwork would have been inconclusive as my pup's white cell count was only slightly elevated. We needed to see what was going on in her mouth! Dr. let us walk with no help. Foolishly, I paid the $40 office visit. Later that evening when my pup still would not eat or drink, I took her to ER vet, fearing she would dehydrate. That cost $185. I

Best Animal Hospital I've taken my dogs here since they were puppies. When we had to put 2 of our dogs down do to old age the staff sent us a card and called us to make sure we were ok. Dr. Klaich is the best doctor he really loves all his patients. Very caring staff.

OMG, worst experience ever, I took my 7 month old cane corso mix puppy here for his rabies shots and Dr. William J Smith told me I need to euthanize my dog because he was barking at another dog, he then had a tech put a muzzle on him and then when he flinched when he got the shot he kicked him as hard as he could in the mouth and my puppy was bleeding so bad that he needs stitches, and from reading other reviews this looks like this is not the first time they have done this to dogs. I am filing a formal complaint with the board on this DVM, and will NEVER GO BACK AGAIN! On a plus side the staff has been VERY NICE (especially since they witnessed his behaivor) and also Dr. Klaich, whom I assume is the head honcho there swore to me he would personally handle my complaint and seemed sincere and professional (wish I had him instead of the jerk that kicked my puppy in the mouth)

This a great animal hospital. I've taken my cat there for a couple of years now for routine care.She was recently hit by a car and they've been nothing but kind and sincere with my multitudes of questions and worries. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else.

We have had many animals from cats and dogs to large animals and have been happy with our vets in the past. Recently we were refferred to this hospital as they are very good surgeons and our dog had to have a tough surgery. We could not be more happy with a veterinarian. This is also by far the best office we have seen. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and the Doctors are all terrific. They are good at what they do and really care about the animals and their owners.

Horrible wait time, horrible staff, unfriendly vet assistants, complete lack of bedside manner. These people do not like animals, they are way overpriced, and I will never return here again. Especially after my dog "mysteriously" developed a laceration requiring stitches at their facility. Absolutely shocked and appalled at how uncaring and unknowledgable everyone was.

Our family has used Klaich Animal Hospital for 15 years. The Doctors and staff treat all of out pets with knowledge, true caring & kindness. In November we had to put our dog Shadow down, she was with us for 17 years and a huge part of our lives. We knew our time with her was was coming to and end, hoever Dr. Klaich was so patient and kind. His high level of competence assured us that our Shadow left us with no pain. Being able to see our Shadow out of this world in peaceful privacy was a gift and eases the painful memory. We

I think since changing to all appt.s is made this facility worse. Dr's. are not spending the appropriate time with patients and owners. Appt.s were supposed to help. I think it's worse. I have gone there for years but now I will be finding a new vet. I will search until I find one that cares about the animals. It's no better going to a people dr. Extremely unhappy.

You couldn't entrust your "fur kids" to anyone better! Excellent all the way around.
They saved our first Sheltie's life three times. Another vet wanted to put him down when he was only 1-1/2 years old. Dr. Klaich operated on Benson, setting his leg. Benson then went through other medical issues. We were lucky enough to have Benson in our lives until he was 14!
All of the Drs. Are excellent. Dr. Smith is currently treating our 8 (?) year old Sheltie, Buddy. Buddy is a "rescued" Sheltie, so we don't know a lot about his past, other than he was horribly abused and starved.
Everyone there is loving and caring. Their facility is so clean.
I couldn't say enough about Klaich Animal Hospital and recommend them to everyone!

After 3 visits with my dogs ear infection.He was getting worse. I called ahead and asked if,I could see another vet? They said sure.A hour and half drive.Sat in the waiting room 2 and half hours. Only to find-out a fight, between the two vets happened.And vet # 1 insisted on seeing my dog. I said no. The vet threw the meds, across the office at me.And hit my dog.You can answer from here. My partner and I tried to discuss this at the desk.And they said it was'nt their problem. What ya THINK? I've had better service, at the worse place on earth.

We have been taken our animals to Klaich for 10 years and have been always very happy with them. The Staff is alway nice even though it is always very busy and all the doctors are very knowledgeable. A Hospital that truely loves Animals. We have recommended them many times to friends, 'cause they felt that their vets are only doing it for the money and did not care ( nobody ever went back to their old vet.)

We have taken our animals here since I was a kid and they are the only people I would trust. I have never had a bad experience or service. They answer all questions you have and will work with you if you are low on funds. Great people that really care about your pets.

Klaich Animal Hospital has treated all of my pets. They have excellent exotic docs who take wonderful care of our ferrerts. Their other vets are very good with the animals, both as far as medical care and "bedside manner."

I took my puppy in there to get her first shots. She got sick on the way there and got diarhea. Instead of the doctor just running her under some water he shaved her butt and n cut it really badly. When is scabbed over it cover the whole butt and she could not go to the bathroom until I took her to a groomer that had to fix the problem for me!!! BAD! BAD! BAD! service...

Klaich is an all encompassing hospital with everything under one roof. From exotics to ultrasound, pocket pets to orthopedics, all within a reasonable price range, Klaich is by far one of the best hospitals in Northern Nevada, and I wouldn't take my beloved pets anywhere else.

This is a multi vet clinic. All the docs are wonderful and are great with your pet. I will never use any other vet. They are also open every day even Sunday (with short hrs.) and don't charge extra. Great office with great staff.
