A few years ago I took my 10 yr old cat there for a wellness exam and they insisted my senior kitty needed a full-body x ray so my wellness "exam" price tag was $300, and me being a dummy I agreed to it. Will never go there again. And of course nothing unusual was found on the x-ray I was duped into purchasing.

Feline Medical Center is a money driven, ethically bankrupt veterinary clinic that gives priority to fleecing every last cent from pet owners at the expense of their beloved pet's health. FMC enjoys using as many unnecessary and expensive--significantly more than comparable clinics--diagnostic tools as possible before prescribing pharmaceuticals at a 1000 percent (and more) price markup. FMC's actions are especially reprehensible when you consider how easy it is to steal from pet owners willing to sell one of their own kidneys to fund their cat's treatment. Do yourself, and your cat, a favor and avoid this clinic like the plague of money-grubbing quacks they are.

I took my cat in with a small abcess last year and they charged me $300. This year I should have learned, but when I went in for some diarrhea they again charged me $300 for xrays, blood panel and a little medicine. They asked me to follow up in three weeks but when I called, the doctor never called back. If it was as serious as they say or not, I think I am due the consideration of a return call. Is this being thorough or just overcharging for a lot of unnecessary tests?

The Feline Medical Center cared for my cat for many years until her passing. I always found them to be incredibly compassionate and knowledgeable. They really are "specialists" when it comes to cats, and I have found that they have are able to diagnose problems that other vets have not found. I have referred many friends over the years and all of them have been satisfied with the care that their pets had at the Feline Medical Center. I highly recommend them for gentle, quality care.
